First of all, I felt this coming on for a week. I'd wake up with a sore throat, and the little voice in my head that always speaks the truth said: You're going to get sick, and it's going to be troubled waters.
Then, today I woke up at 5 AM, and I couldn't breath. My throat felt like a swollen hotbed of fire ants, and one of my nostrils was entirely clogged. So I fell off (it wasn't graceful enough to be a slide-off) my top bunk, and rummaged through my belongings until I found some medicine. It didn't seem to do anything, and my head was too heavy to carry back up into my bed, so instead I got my piece of apple pie out of the fridge and ate it on the floor of my room while I watched the episode of The Office when Andy makes Dwight quit. That episode made me really hate Andy. Can I just say that the new Office isn't rubbing me... the traditional way? Something's not right. I just wish it was season 5 again.
Then I emailed my Spanish teacher to tell her I wasn't going to be in class today. Then I got into bed just as Starlee was getting up. Then I though to myself: "This is useless. I will never be healed if I don't have E.T. to watch on the green couch." But desperate times call for desperate measures (I have to go to class tomorrow.) so I put on Tommy Boy and tried to pretend it was E.T. until I fell asleep... I don't know why I thought that would satisfy me.
Now, I am forced into homework mode. I'm kind of hungry, but I don't want to go into the dirty-dish-ridden kitchen. I'd be too tempted to clean everything, which would take too long, and probably make me vomit. I guess vomit happens... I just want some soup so bad.
Here goes nothing.
Spain, Spain, Spain, Spain...
