we never change, do we?

1. Out of all the things I could be the most grateful for this Christmas, I think my friends will take the prize again. I have great friends at school, and all over the world, but the Picnic Club will alway have the most special place in mi corazón. We've all changed and been changed in the past two years, but God in all of His mercy has let us still be as close, if not closer, than we were in high school. They mean the world to me. We go on the greatest adventures, at (literally) all hours of the day. D's, anyone?

2. I never hear anyone talking about Moving to Mars, by Coldplay. It was on the Every Teardrop is a Waterfall EP, and I love it.

3. The Santa Clause's soundtrack is so good. I'm a big fan of soundtracks, and this one is particularly beautiful. I'd compare it to Hook, just out of John Williams territory.

4. The Muppets. If you haven't seen it, go see it now. I saw it on Thanksgiving, and I haven't lived a day since without thinking about it. Life changing folks, those muppets. Also, it's directed by James Bobin (creator of Flight of the Conchords), and half of the songs are written by Bret McKenzie (one half of Flight of the Conchords)=how could you go wrong?

5. 17 days until departure. AND 2 UNTIL CHRISTMAS!
