I struggle with the feeling that my life isn't mine/so cold so cold, so cold so cold.

I'll go ahead and translate this part: The Day of the Dead, only my FAVORITE Hispanic holiday, starts tomorrow, and I'm making an altar de difuntos (memorial altar) and pan de muerto (bread of the dead) because I'm really cool and would rather do that than other things. Like real homework.

My Spanish life is advancing like crazy this month. My iPod decided to change my Scriptures app from English to Spanish when I reset it the other day, because the rest of the languages are Spanish (except for Angry Birds... I managed to download that one in French and I don't think it'll ever change). And on my laptop, I've been searching for so many Spanish things on Google that Google and Gmail are both in Spanish now. It's kinda crazy. It makes me feel like I'm smarter than I really am. Confidence boost?

I realized the other day that I really want to be Sister Encarnación when I grow up. For a while, all I could think was: That would be fun, but I'd always be broke. And then I thought: As a nun, wouldn't I be taken care of? Also, I'd never have to do my hair because it would always be all up in my habit. Except for when I'd make it look effortlessly beautiful when Nacho came to my quarters to eat toast. This might make me look like a floozy, but if I marry Nacho, we'd be banking from his Lucha Libre income. So basically I have it all worked out. I love all the orphans in the whole world! ¡Me encantan todos los huérfanos en el mundo entero!

In other news:

Stargazing Sundays are pretty cool.
