SHE'S DEEAAAAAAAD!
Jklol I hope everyone got that... Anyways.
I'm sorry--truly, legitimately sorry--that I have not kept up with myself on this blog for the past six weeks. I know I told a lot of people that I'd be blogging my adventures on a normal basis, and I've definitely failed at that. There's only so much time in a day, etc.
But, on a self-contradicting note, I have started a new blog! It will not replace this one. It's a photography blog. It is not professional. It is pretty silly, I think. But if I have a blog to post pictures to (hopefully multiple times a week), maybe it will get me in the habit of taking and editing pictures on the daily. We went to a modern art festival last weekend, and I had the chance to ask one of the artists a question. In all my desire for knowledge, the only thing I could manage to think of in Spanish on the spot was "Do you paint everyday?" And she said "Hombre! (the equivalent of Dude! except everyone says it all the time) Every day. I have to. It is my job. It is my passion." And then I thought to myself, if I ever want to be good at photography, I need to make it my job. No one is going to do that for me.
