Nacho Libre is easily one of my favorite movies ever. But it is also one of the best movies of all time. I will not back down from that statement. Ever.

This weekend was the last weekend of summer. I have had a good summer. And even though I knew that August was going to be a slow month that would be good for nothing but sleeping in and watching movies (and thinking about exercise), and I didn't want it to come after my July of Amazing, I am now sad to see it go. This weekend, August ended. It went out with a bang. LiTeRaLlY <333 p="">
After a night of window shopping at the new mall in Salt Lake, Becky and I found fireworks to watch. I love fireworks. So much that I can't even explain it. Here is a partial list of things that I love so much that I can't explain why I love them (in layman's terms, anyways. the explanation of my love would definitely include lots of hand motions, weird noises, and references to queen victoria):
-Fireworks
-Bridges
-Guero, by Beck
-Nacho Libre
-Cool Blue Gatorade
-The green couch that my parents bought when I was eight that is now in Provo but I haven't seen it since December and I will never see it again.

Oh, that couch, especially.

So anyways, we saw fireworks on August 30. Yesterday, September 1, was a day of new things. New month. New church--new building, new ward. New dream (about getting shot in the hip and Becky's wedding reception) during my nap. New lemonade. My mom is buying me a new bed frame, apparently.

But there were also old things. I wore an old shirt to church. Watched old favorite movies. Talked to old friends. Ate old pumpkin seeds.

Life is new and old and great. Less than 24 hours until the first day of school. God be praised!
