back to blisting, homedawgs. also, no caps tonight. my pinkies are tired.

facts of life i have recently come to terms with:

1. there is no problem with putting on pj's as soon as you get home, if you are not going to leave home subsequently. 

2. hangnails. they happen. moisturize those hands.

3. taking out the trash and doing the dishes and washing the hand towels and locking the door are important things. therefore, take pride in doing them--especially when it seems like you are the only person that knows how to do them.

4. people will either make time for you or they won't. sometimes people don't make time for you. sometimes people do make time for you. sometimes, both of these things are surprising. just roll with it. the people that make time for you deserve time. the people that don't, don't.

5. you really can't tell people how to handle their love lives. just love them.

6. brothers grow up.

7. those knit gloves may look dorky, but in reference to #2, just wear them. also, then your fingers won't freeze. obvious choice!

8. sometimes you will miss deadlines. say you're sorry and pick up the pace.

9. other people do amazing things and sometimes you will feel smaller than them. but that doesn't mean you are smaller than them.

10. call your mom. 

11. call your dad.

12. library book germs are not killer.

13. there is no shame in taking dietary supplements. 

14. there is shame in taking dietary supplements if you call five donuts a dietary supplement.

and the most important of all,

15. start early. as early as freaking possible. waiting, unless you can prove that it is essential, is a waste of time.
